The Middle East Insurance Co (S) LTD was incorporated in 1981 by a group of Sudanese businessmen desirous to provide excellent insurance services for their clients as well as themselves. In order to achieve this topmost objective, the company has concluded agreements with leading international re-insurance companies and insurance brokers such as:

  2. Cathedral Syndicate CCL of Lloyds, London,
  3. Kiln Underwriting of Lloyds, London,
  4. ED Broking LLP,
  5. Willis Towers Watson
  6. Afro-Asian Insurance Services, London,
  7. African Takaful Company
  8. Trust Re, Bahrain,
  9. Zep-Re Retakaful Window,
  10. Oman Reinsurance Company

In addition, the company has established an independent unit under the corporate name of Prime Health for Medical Services to provide medical and travel insurance inside and outside the Sudan.

The company has hitherto succeeded, thanks to its outstanding performance and continued presence with its clients whom it  considers itself as their insurance advisers and not only their underwriters. The goal of the company remains; rendering the best services at a reasonable price.
